Members and Donors to the OU - the Orthodox Union, and it's various projects in Israel and America.
The OU was founded in 1898 to unify the ranks of traditional Jews in America, provide a strong political voice and halt the trend towards assimilation.
The OU oversees a variety of projects including kosher supervision, synagogues, the National Conference on Synagogue Youth (NCSY) and an institute of public affairs. They also operate progrmas in Europe, the former Soviet Union and Israel.
Members receive the award-winning "Jewish Action" magazine. They are socially aware and active, religiously traditional and moderate-to-conservative in political outlook.
