Description

The Sunrise Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Israeli children in need.

Its textbook distribution program reaches thousands of disadvantaged children who would not otherwise have the necessary materials for school. Unlike the United States, schools in Israel do not provide textbooks for students.

The Sunrise Toy Drive brings tens of thousands of Chanukah presents to children whose lives have been battered by poverty.

Through its high-school volunteer network, Sunrise reaches thousands of Special Needs children at holiday times, bringing them festivities with music, song, and special activities.
