Description

Center for Jewish History is one of the great public Jewish historical and cultural institutions in the world. Its mission is to foster the creation and dissemination of Jewish knowledge and to make the historical and cultural record of the Jewish people readily accessible to scholars, students and the public.

The Center embodies a unique partnership of five major institutions of Jewish scholarship, history, and art: American Jewish Historical Society, American Sephardi Federation, Leo Baeck Institute, Yeshiva University Museum, and YIVO Institute for Jewish Research.
